Introduction
I would like to thank Coolink for providing the following item for a review. Today we are going to take a look at new product from Coolink, Lapchilla. It always makes me smile when i hear some of the names of the products from Coolink. Just by the name Lapchilla you can figure out what kind of product it is. You got it, it is a notebook lap cooler. Ever since the invention of multi core cpus, notebooks started to get hotter and hotter. Cooling of the cpus and gpu's in notebooks becomes a problem and some times is solved by an active cooling mechanism which maybe a loud one. To help the cooling of the notebook and perhaps preventing skin burn, items such as Lapchilla were invented. In the past we have reviewed notebook cooler so lets take a look and see if Lapchilla has a chance.

Lapchilla comes in a stylish box. There is a cut out in the middle of the box which shows the cooling part of the Lapchilla. The box itself is rather big and gives a feeling of getting a value for your buck. On the both sides of the box we can clearly see the Lapchilla logo and Coolink company logo. On the back of the box we found various advertising images which sudggest the usage of Lapchilla along with specifications sheet.

After Lapchilla |
We have performed some simple testing on the Lapchilla and the results are above. The temperatures were taken in incremental of 20 minutes. Fight test was running our notebook in idle mode for 20 minutes. We have gotten temperature as low as 71.1 F or 21.7 C. After putting the Lapchilla to work we have waited for another 20 minutes and took the reading with our trusty Micro Temp. This time we got temperatures as low as 66.1 F or 18.9 C.
Conclusion
As you can probably imagine from this review Lapchilla definitely deserves a round of applause. We really couldn't find any problems with this unit. I mean c mon, it is doing what it is designed to do and it is doing well! It is really hard to judge notebook coolers. There are literally 400 million different styles and the only way to separate them is judging on a longevity of the operation and performance. So far we have been more than satisfied with Lapchilla and we hope it will make its way out to the markets. With an affordable price of € 29.90 / USD 34.90 this definitely would be a bargain. We believe Lapchilla deserves a 10/10! Keep up the good work guys and we hope to see more exiting products from Coolink:)
