Over the busy holiday season I received a really nice product from ICY DOCK. Impressively, it is a nice product based on performance, versatility, and uniqueness because I cannot find any exact type from any other competitors in the market. As far as ICY DOCK goes back, ICY DOCK is a legendary data storage manufacturer and designing is their key factor in this business. Over a year course of data storage products, UMLan has reviewed and tested many major brands, most which comes down to 3 or 4 common key factors. I’m sure that many people purchase them for intelligent designs, system compatibilities, data transfer speeds, and most importantly is cost.

Today we will take a look at the latest model ICY DOCK MB981U3-1SA SATA & IDE to USB 3.0 Docking Station and is considered a new product on the market since there are no others alike. Since the actual adapter concept has been around quite some time, no one has taken the initiative to develop a universal adapter/enclosure/docking station combo due to incompatibilities from circuit board assembly and microchip. Instead, ICY DOCK spent time and money developing this product to add to our collection of product line and a big “Thank you ICY DOCK.” I have included a series of images for product test score and actual product designs, come check it out!

Technology is flying now a days and it is extremely hard to keep up with all of the new hardware that comes with it. Not too while ago, Intel released their newest socket LGA2011 with a second generation of I7 processors, Sandy Bridge and Gigabyte has been on top of the game as always. Gigabyte has released four x79 motherboards which are ranged from low budget/features to highest possible; they are GA-x79-UD3, GA-x79-UD5, GA-x79-UD7 and GA.Assasin 2. All of these motherboards support high performance Intel LGA 2011 Core i7 processors. What we are going to be looking at today is GA-x79-UD3, the entry level x79 chipset by Gigabyte.

Happy 2012 everyone! Over the holidays, we have been receiving many products for review from multiple manufacturers.  Products starting from new towers, monitors, power supply units, video cards, motherboards, data storage products, and the list do not end here.  Today, I would like to introduce an old Taiwanese company Raidcom Technology, the company has been manufacturing computer towers since 1988.  In 2000, Raidmax was formed as another big brand in the globe, which gained popularity in other countries such as Europe, Germany, Asia, and now the USA.  As Raidmax grows, they have been adding new Power Supply Units and CPU Coolers to the product line.  Parent company Raidcom Technology develops multiple budgeted tower cases around, each uniquely designed for gaming specifications and style.

There is something about computer cases that attract pretty much everyone. Just the other day I was working on one machine and some one came up to me and asked me what was the case and who made it. Without a doubt a right computer case will turn heads but do we really need it to be "special"? You bet! There is nothing like having a great case at lan parties believe me I know. Once some one sees that special something in the design or construction, they would gather and every one becomes your best friend. Heh yup that's how it is. Today we have a great privilege to review one of the newest and sexiest cases out there, Cosmos II by Cooler Master. Cosmos II is that "Ultra Case" you have been waiting for. In fact that is the name of it, Cosmos II Ultra Tower Case. Cosmos II is a 100% guarantee to turn heads at any event. Let's take some time and look at every aspect of Cosmos II in detail so we can have a better understanding on what we are dealing with here.
